In 2020, Rehab Incorporated transitioned into a formal partnership between John Hyde and Terissa Kelton. Now Rehab Entertainment, the duo will focus on content development and production. 

With 50 years of experience in the industry and his involvement in nearly 200 film and television projects, John Hyde has cultivated a network that enables Rehab Entertainment to pursue and develop projects ranging from feature films to digital content.

After a multi-year partnership, Hyde and Kelton co-founded Rehab Entertainment in 2020. Their company vision revolves around supporting and cultivating creative voices for a variety of platforms. This vision is reflected in their current slate. 

 

Now Streaming on Apple TV+ in partnership with The Jim Henson Company, Hyde and Kelton are executive producing the first-ever animated remake of Harriet the Spy starring Beanie Feldstein and Jane Lynch. 

On the family feature slate, for Disney+ and in partnership with Secret Machine's Justin Springer, the duo will executive produce the live-action relaunch of Flight of the Navigator. Bryce Dallas Howard is attached to direct. 

Also in live-action, Hyde and Kelton will executive produce Short Circuit, based on the original 1986 film. 

 

In children's television, and in partnership with The Jim Henson Company, they are executive producing a children’s mixed media/puppetry series based on the popular pre-school book, The Kissing Hand. They are also executive producing Lena!, an animated preschool series that follows the adventures of a neuro-atypical child, inspired by the work of Karen Katz with Sidney Clifton as Showrunner. 

For Sony/Studio 8, Hyde and Kelton are set to executive produce Prophet, based on the comic book by Rob Liefeld. Marc Guggenheim penned the screenplay. 

In development, the two are overseeing Glory, based on the comic book heroine created by Rob Liefeld. 

 

In digital, Kelton and Hyde produced and executive produced, respectively, PRIDE: The Series for Amazon PRIME.

Hyde is currently the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Jim Henson Company since 2007. 

Both Hyde and Kelton are members of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Hyde has been nominated for 5 Emmys, winning one. He is also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. He is a former officer and director of The Cousteau Society.  He was a founding member, as well as Vice Chairman of the Board of the American Film Market. Hyde graduated from New York University with additional international economic studies at Leiden University in Holland.

Kelton is a member of the Hollywood Radio & Television Society as well as Film Independent. She hails from Austin, TX and is not afraid to use the word 'y'all'.
